Patient Reference Group (PRG)

Central to public involvement at NHS Waltham Forest CCG is the Patient Reference Group (PRG).

The group has been in place since 2014 and is part of the CCG’s governance structure. In 2017, there was a review and refresh of the membership to create a network of patient and public involvement across Waltham Forest.

The group meets regularly and is involved in all stages of the CCG’s work.

There are Patient Participation Group representatives for the three localities of Chingford, Walthamstow, and Leyton and Leytonstone, and representatives of different communities throughout the borough.

A speech-to-text reporter (STTR), hearing loops and meeting papers in different formats are available for meetings, which are held at the wheelchair friendly CCG office.

More details on the current membership are available in the CCG’s Annual Report.

How do I apply?

The Patient Reference Group has an open recruitment and welcomes applications at any time. The application form and recruitment pack is available in the downloads section below.
