Management changes at Orient Practice, Leyton

Patients registered at Orient Practice in Leyton will see a different management team in place from Monday 11 February 2019.

The team, from The Hurley Group, is temporarily running the practice, in place of LivingCare Medical Services, following a recent Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspection.

NHS Waltham Forest’s Clinical Commissioning Group’s Primary Care Team has worked with NHS England to put the caretaking arrangement in place at the practice, to ensure patients registered at the practice can continue to have access to a GP.

Patients booked in to this Saturday’s clinic (9 February 2019) are being advised of alternative provision that has been arranged.

All patients registered at Orient Practice, which is on the first floor of the Oliver Road Polyclinic at 75 Oliver Road, Leyton, E10 5LG, should continue to contact the practice as normal on 020 3405 6840.

Registered patients will be receiving a letter from NHS England, which will include details of a patient information event at a date in the future.

Other GP practices and services which operate from the building are unaffected by the change.
