NHS Waltham Forest Clinical Commissioning Group supports a multi-agency programme of work to make the Borough a hostile environment for Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking to exist and to ensure both adult and child victims are effectively safeguarded and supported.

Modern Slavery includes, human trafficking, forced labour, domestic servitude, organ harvesting, sexual exploitation and forced criminal activity where someone is coerced or deceived into a life of abuse, servitude and inhumane treatment. 

Victims of Modern Slavery are from a range of different nationalities, including the United Kingdom.

How to report Modern Slavery concerns:

If you are concerned about someone who you think might be a victim of Modern Slavery you can contact the Modern Slavery helpline on 08000 121 700.
