Information that has been held previously by NHS Barking and Dagenham Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), NHS City and Hackney CCG, NHS Havering CCG, NHS Newham CCG, NHS Redbridge CCG, NHS Tower Hamlets CCG and NHS Waltham Forest CCG is transferring to the new CCG, NHS North East London CCG on 1 April 2020.

Maternity Voices Partnership

Waltham Forest CCG wants to make sure that local mums have the best possible experience of pregnancy, birth and postnatal care. This is why we fund a local organisation (Social Action for Health) to speak to women 'on the ground' in the community and hear about their experience of using maternity services.

Social Action for Health also facilitates the Maternity Voices Partnership (MVP), previously known as the Maternity Services Liaison Committee. This committee is made up of user representatives (such as parents or birth companions), Waltham Forest CCG and healthcare providers such as midwives, doctors and health visitors. The MVP meets regularly to discuss issues that have been raised and to work together to improve maternity services.

All feedback obtained by Social Action for Health and discussed by the MVP is given to Waltham Forest CCG. This helps the CCG to work with GPs and Barts Health to improve local services. All feedback is completely anonymous and cannot be traced to individuals.
